Sean Dillow of TheBigCheesePhotography.co.uk is a professional freelance photographer based in Basingstoke, North Hampshire.

Photography began as a hobby for Sean at the age of nine in Hampshire, when his granddad gave him a twin lens reflex camera. The photographic bug has stayed with him ever since and today, 30 years after starting out in his press photography career, Sean is proud to have won a number of national press awards.

Formerly group picture editor for Newsquest Oxfordshire where he was responsible for the picture content across all titles, including the Oxford Mail and the award-winning Oxford Times, Sean now owns and runs TheBigCheesePhotography.co.uk

Since launching his own company Sean has worked for a variety of local, regional and national newspapers, national photographic agencies and local and national companies, covering a wide range of assignments.

Clients have included the BBC, McDonalds, British Heart Foundation, Auntie Anne's, Royal Mail, Pick Me Up Magazine, Cancer Research UK, Gazette Newspapers, Anvil Arts, Sovereign Housing Association, TNT Couriers, Diamond Light Source and many more.

Sean specialises in corporate event photography and has travelled internationally covering conventions particularly with the pharmaceutical industry.

He has also been the photographer of choice at numerous weddings and, as such, has extensive experience in capturing a couple’s special day in its entirety – from the bride’s “getting ready” shots to the first dance, the artistic shots of the wedding rings and bridal bouquet and the candid shots of the guests dancing the night away.
